A big thank you to all of the parents who donated and helped out at our 4th grade picnic on May 21. It was a great success. Lots of fun was had by all. Thank you also to all of those who donated towards the great gift cards for me. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Family Life Program:
The Family Life Program will be wrapping up this week. The students have been doing a wonderful job so far asking good questions and participating during class. Thank you also to parents for doing your part and going over the material at home with your children.

Our next math test will be on Friday May 29.
Please encourage your child to always check over his/her work before turning it in and to ask questions. Spring fever is in the air and we need to make sure that we are still doing our best.

We love God's People. This is the focus of the chapters in Unit 4. In these seven chapters, we examine the fourth through the tenth commandments. We will discuss the ways in which these commandments guide us to love our neighbors as well as ourselves.

Do you know all of our 50 states and their capitals??? This is the goal that our fourth graders are trying to achieve. While learing about our country's regions, students will also work to memorize all 50 states and capitals. We will be making flash cards and having regular quizzes in class to help ourselves to do this. You can also help out at home by quizzing your child for a few minutes each evening.
