This class will focus on the following areas:
1. Phonemic Awareness and Phonics
2. Word Recognition and Spelling
3. Vocabulary and Morphology
4. Grammar and Usage
5. Listening and Reading Comprehension
6. Speaking and Writing



In addition to the Language! curriculum, our class will be reading a variety of short stories and novels. We also focus on writing skills and develop numerous papers throughout the school year.

This class is focused on teaching students how to become successful during their high school career. We will focus on learning homework and study skills, test taking strategies and how to maximize their time in the classroom.
