Debate Club
The debate club will focus on current controversial topics in politics, medicine, psychology, and economics. The club will meet on a weekly basis, prepare arguments, and debate key ideas and points. The debate club's objectives are to help students become more informed citizens by evaluating information and developing persuasive and analytical skills. Our meeting schedule is as follows. Every Tuesday at 7am in room 103. We will have "work" days and "debate days. October 26th will be the first "work" meeting. Please bring topics that you are interested in debating.

Sociology
Sociology is the study of group behavior. During this semester we will expolore and analyze various groups including: family, race, school, and social class, trying to identify patterns and understand how and why change occurs.
U.S. History I
U.S. History I attempts to analyze and offer insights into the political, economic, and social forces that have shaped our country over the past 300 years. The course attempts to find answers to complex problems of the twenty-first century by learning and studying our past.
