It is very important that your child follow our classroom rules. Listed below is a Behavior Color Chart that we use to monitor students' behavior.
Behavior Color Chart
Green - Excellent Behavior
Orange - Verbal Warning
Blue - Loss of Privileges
White - Time Out
Red - Telephone Call to Parents
Your child's behavior color is recorded in his or her Planner at the end of each day. It is important that you check your child's Planner everyday. At the beginning of each day, every child starts off with a green color card. If your child stays on green all day, he or she will receive a treat or a prize from the class treasure box. If a rule is not followed, it will result in one color card change. A written comment will be made in your child's Planner if he or she receives a color other than green. If a written comment is made in your child's Planner, please take a few moments to review the rules, and talk to your child about improving his or her behavior at school. |
