| Speak to the World! Learn a foreign language |
Bienvenidos! Bienvenue! Welcome to the world of foreign language! I am Mme/Sra Rebecca R. Weimar, and I am fired up to have my students learn about the world to become a better citizen of the world! In my class, you enter the world of Spanish or French and learn that although there are differences, we are, in many ways, all the same! Come and travel to all kinds of exotic places, see and eat exotic things, learn to sing songs in another language and most importantly, learn to express yourself and communicate in another language thus improving your skill in your own!
And don't forget! Colleges and universities still recommend/require at LEAST two years of a foreign language for admission. Check us out!
Fasten your seatbelts! It's an awesome ride!!! |

Bienvenue à la classe de français! Je suis Mme. Rebecca Weimar, la professeur de français. We are going to have a wonderful time learning about our French speaking neighbors, about France and all other French speaking countries. We will also make connections to English ( since thousands of words in English come directly from French!) and we will learn about the francophone culture. French is the second most taught language in the world. Spanish is super and quite useful; however, learning French is still a very viable option for students. Allez-y bouledougues! Let's learn about the tasty world of French!

French II is a continuation of the objectives and skills established and developed in French I. We continue to learn grammar structures, vocabulary and the culture of the French speaking world. A continued emphasis on speaking is encouraged. Although only two years is required for college admission, the additional academic elective of French III is a great way to further reinforce the language skill. Parlons français et amusons-nous dans la classe de Mme!

Spanish II continues with the learning objectives established in Spanish I with regard to listening, reading, speaking and writing. A continued study of the Hispanic culture is encouraged as we try to bridge the gap between our neighbors both here and south of the border.
