MONDAY:
Group canned food competition begins!
SSR Day... please read
Notification of Priority/Advisory 2 placements (3 weeks starts tomorrow)

TUESDAY:
Advisory 2 (first day for this three week period)
Get your blue passes and be sure you are staying up on your work. only about a month or so until the end of the semester!
--We have 21 students total in here (I have 6 priority) so we will be pretty packed for a few weeks!
--Pair up if you'd like and try the CNN Challenge game on http://www.cnnchallenge.com/

WEDNESDAY:
I'm not checking grades this week since you just got report cards, but if you want to see your grades, just come back during reading time and I'll look them up for you. :)

THURSDAY:
Guided study/reading

Guided study/games (we now have two checkers and a chess game)

--The canned food drive begins this week and will be run through the advisories. The purpose of the canned food drive is to give to those who are in need. With that said, here is the info and some incentive…. Individual Competition for Week 1 (Nov 9th-13th): On Tues, November 24th (last day before thanksgiving break) advisories will be moved to the last hour of the day. Any student that brought in $5 or 10 cans during the week one competition will be released after attendance has been taken.

WEDNESDAY:
Reading day! Have a book!

THURSDAY:
Guided study (get those blue notes!)

FRIDAY:
Guided study and maybe games if you've been good this week..

MONDAY:
Remember, today is an SSR day so be reading quietly. There should be NO TALKING after the announcements!

TUESDAY:
If you are Priority, you go there. If not, get a blue pass and go somewhere OR have something to do.

WEDNESDAY:
Term 2 ends on Friday; if you are missing any work in a class, you need to get that taken care of by tomorrow or you will probably be stuck with the grades you have. Ask me if you want a grade check. Otherwise, read quietly.

ADVISORY COMPETITION BEGINS – Money will be collected by advisory teachers to be donated to the completion of a boundry-less playground spearheaded by Andrea and Jeff Cunningham. The playground will be built at South County Park. The winning advisory will win the traveling trophy!

--SSR DAY! READ!!! I have an article I'd like you to read and discuss about Paul Orfalea.

Tyler is a typical high school student who happens to have cerebral palsy and some other challenges. He has taken on a mission to educate the world about Ability Awareness. He believes that what a person, any person, CAN do is much more important than what he/she can't.
