WEDNESDAY:

Discuss next batch of projects; start storyboarding

After Effects Lesson 1-- It's a bit complicated, but has some neat features for using post-editing with Premiere...we have video tutorials that explain better than I can...we may do some of these on your own if you enjoy it as you work on the next projects

THURSDAY:

Discuss Children's Book Project and Stop Motion Animation projects

FRIDAY:

Decide which project to work on first; start storyboard process and/or experimenting with frame by frame animation in Premiere or After Effects text.

Open Adobe Premiere file from Friday

ACTIVITY--
Guided editing using Premiere; adding music (fade in/out); titles; freeze frame

*******************

Tuesday--Sub (Mrs. Skinner out)

BELLRINGER--
Read this article and take some notes:
http://www.videomaker.com/article/12927/
Then, write a summary of which two effects you would like to try and why. TURN IN TO THE TRAY.

ACTIVITY--
Experiment with Premiere and your raw footage some more today; think about how you will create a trailer--what music you will use/when, what you will say when you narrate, if you want something to be in slow motion, etc. Come up with a plan and jot down some notes and perhaps the "script" for your words. You will record after I return.

*******************

Wednesday (SUB: Mrs. Skinner out)

BELLRINGER--none, get busy!

ACTIVITY--
Work on your trailer; I am not giving specific guidelines on this. The rule... you must use 3 titles, at least 2 different audio clips, keyframes for fading audio and/or video, at least one video effect, narration, and it must be 30 seconds long. We'll work on these for a few more days, but do a good job!!!

*******************

Thursday

BELLRINGER--none, continue...

ACTIVITY--Continue trailer project (narrate if you are ready; one at a time...everyone stay quiet!)

*******************

Friday

BELLRINGER--none, continue...

ACTIVITY--Keep on keeping on! :)
