We are very pleased to announce a new site update
Please read bellow to find out about important new changes and imrovements to ClassJump.The first of many exciting changes
It's been a rocky year for our small yet dedicated team. The unexpected challenges of moving/modernizing the classJump server was a tremendous drain on our limited resources. Dealing with these hurdles severely restricted our ability to concentrate on doing what we enjoy most, making Classjump better for teachers and students. Now that we have overcome the majority these problems, we are back to focusing on site improvements. This is the first in a series of planned updates based on feedback and requests from our users. Over the coming months, we hope to roll out a number of major improvements to the site, most excitingly the classjump mobile app which has been in development for nearly two years.

Classjump's finances are severely strained. Our ability to continue the service, much less improve it, is absolutely contingent on donations. If you enjoy using classjump and wish to see it get better, please consider contributing or soliciting tax deductible donations to our cause.What's new
This update includes a major overhaul to the calendar and assignment system with the intent of making it more useful, clear and user friendly for both teachers and students. Email subscriber updates for calendar items are back! Now with added control over if and when updates are sent. We have added the ability to control the visibility of calendar items. Teachers can hide events and assignments from view until they are relevant.We also were able work in just the first few of many planned changes to improve the clarity, orginization and control of your site content. As well as lots and lots of bug fixes.
Improved class calendar/assignments
Item visibility-
Faster, clearer, more intuitive calendar editing-
Create and edit events directly in the class calendar view.
Adjust the item dates and new notification and visibility functions directly in the edit panel.

Email Notifications-
Email notifications for assignments and events are back and better then ever!
You now have control of if and when notifications are sent to your email subscribers.
Queue email notifications when you add the item, immediately or on a specified date.

Decide when a calendar item is visible to your students and site visitors.
Future items can be hidden from view, until they are relevant to your users.

No mater where you are in the world, the calendar and other date and time features on the site will accurately reflect your current time and date.
Ability to batch delete previous calendar items/assignments-
Go to the class calendar list PAST view and click DELETE PAST ITEMS to remove previous assignments.
Delete all past assignments or select a date range for deletion
Please delete old events and assignments to save us expensive space on the server!
More control over your site layout
Calendar list view truncated to the first four items.
This keeps large numbers of upcoming items from taking up extraneous space on your page.
Class description can be hidden from your homepage
Some teachers prefer this information to show up only on the class page. Now you have the option to do so.

Thank you for making the improvements. It looks, however, like the calendar function is glitching. This morning it was working fine but now I can't access the calendars.

My team partner and I really enjoy Classjump! Our parents are excited, as well. Students can link to sites relative to our current focus. We use it in class as well. Classjump remains on throughout the day and students quickly, quietly and easily access sites for our Daily Centers. Thank you!
