AP US History
The course will study the political, social, cultural, intellectual, economic, and diplomatic history of the United States while teaching students to critically evaluate United States History. Students will be required to analyze primary documents, read daily supplemental texts, participate in seminar style discussions, master the writing of the document based question, and the free response question. Students will also be required to maintain notes taken during class lectures and discussions. Students will synthesize multiple sources of information to accurately study American History. Upon completion of the course students will be prepared for the Advanced Placement Exam in US History, will have satisfied US History graduation requirement, while being challenged at the collegiate level.

United States History
The high school United States history course provides students with a comprehensive, intensive study of major events and themes in United States history. Beginning with early European colonization, the course examines major events and themes throughout United States history. The course concludes with significant developments in the early 21st century.
