Culture will be presented with videos, research projects, and holiday celebrations. All beginners are welcome. Full Year 1 World Language Credit TPRS Based on the premise that languages are “acquired and not learned”, languages at Poland Regional High School will be taught using the TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) method of teaching a World Language. Through this method, students will acquire a second language in the same manner that they gained their first: through repetitive, comprehensible input. In other words, through listening to the second language over and over in familiar contexts, students will acquire the ability to speak, understand and write the second language.
