As we start the new school year I would like to welcome both parents and students to Spanish 1 and 2. This year students will be able to start their journey into learning another language. With hard work and dedication students will be able to learn new vocabulary, grammar, and information about other cultures while meeting the state foreign language standards and using writing, oral, and listening skills to start communicating in the targeted language. I’m very excited to be here with you and hope you are looking forward to a great year.

Bienvenidos to Spanish 1! Spanish 1 will give students the opportunity to build a strong foundation for the new language they are exploring. Throughout the year students will acquire new vocabulary and grammar skills that will allow them to start communicating in the targeted language.

!Bienvenidos a español 2! As a continuation of Spanish 1, students will have the opportunity to continue exploring the language and learning about Spanish speaking countries. Spanish 2 will introduce students to a higher level of vocabulary and grammar that will continue to prepare them for their journey of studying a foreign language.
