Allied Health Assisting III (CNA) - 1st Period
This course is set up for students wanting to go into the health field starting out as certified nursing assistants.Students complete this course as seniors finishing high school and they are able to go to work direct into the health field as a CNA.
They must be 18yrs old, pass a background check and pass both the written & the skills test of the state exam, then they will become a fully certified nursing assistant.
Health Science - 2nd & 6 th period
Health Science 1 3rd & 5th period
This course is designed to introduce students to basic Anatomy and Physiology. This does not count as a science credit however IF you take the regular A & P course in the science department it will count as Health Science 1 for your major area of intrest. It will also allow you to take HS2 for your next course.
