Honors Anatomy and Physiology
The human anatomy and physiology course covers the systems of the human body and their functions. Designed to meet the needs of University Path students, this course is also recommended for Technical Path students interested in medical technology careers. Students will learn to identify the anatomical parts of the entire human body from memory. Considering there are 11 body systems to be covered in 18 weeks, this is a fast paced, high intensity class. The student will be expected to read and study on his own. In order to better understand the anatomy and physiology of certain areas, the student should be prepared and willing to dissect a fetal pig throughout the semester.
