2. My Schedule:

This semester I am teaching Chemistry during periods 1, 2, 4, 5, & 8.

I will be tutoring Chemistry in the library daily during the second half of period 7.

3. Fun Chemistry Book Titles:

     a. Uncle Tungsten: Memories of a Chemical Boyhood

     b. The Disappearing Spoon

     c. The Radioactive Boyscout

     d. In Search of Shroedinger's Cat

     e. Angels & Demons

*** There will be NO EXTRA CREDIT offered this term and there will be NO LATE HOMEWORK accepted.  Once the homework answers are written on the board, the assignment is considered late. ***

*** If you do not write your name on a test, quiz, assignment, lab, etc., then you will receive a ZERO! ***

*** NO NAME = NO GRADE ***

*** If you are warned about talking during a test or quiz: once, then you will receive 10 points off that assessment, twice, you will receive a grade of ZERO.  This includes if you have already turned your paper in early. ***

*** If I can't read your response on a test or quiz, then it is wrong. ***

*** Only answers for multiple choice questions written on the line next to the question number will be graded.  If it is blank, then the question is marked wrong.  If the correct response is "bubbled" in the answer choices, but different from what is written on the line, then it is still wrong. ***

*** If you are absent on the day of a test or quiz, then you must be prepared to make it up on the day you return to class. ***

*** If you are absent on the day a homework assignment/ in-class assignment is assigned, then you have 2 days to make it up from the day you return to class. ***

*** If you are absent on the day a homework assignment/in-class assignment is due, then you must turn it in on the day you return to class. ***

*** If you do not present your homework to be checked before the answers are posted on the board, then it is considered late. ***

*** If you fail to turn in an in-class assignment that is due at the end of the period, then it is a ZERO and cannot be made up.  If you have a 504 or IEP testing modification, then you must ask for the extended time before the end of the class period.  (Make no assumptions.) ***
