Students must be 16 years old to take the state certification test. Jobs are available in Nursing Homes, Hospitals and private duty. Our students learn empathy and compassion as well as nursing skills.

These classes promote interest and skills in health careers. We have Health Science Technology, Certified Nurse Aide, Mental Health, Medical Terminology, Intro to Health Occupations and Pharmacy Tech. Students can be certified before leaving high school with job skills. A variety of medical skills are taught. As long as there are people and people get sick there will be jobs for those interested in health care.

This class is very popular. What does "crazy" really mean? We look at interesting subjects as schizophrenia, drug and alcohol abuse, depression, suicide, personality disorders. Students have an opportunity to choose the chapters they are most interested in.
