This is a semester-long class for 6th grade students.
In the 1st 6 weeks, students create a Theatre-in-Education (theatre desgined to teach) play.
In the 2nd 6 weeks, students will do a scripted unit
In the 3rd six weeks, students will create a play around a common theme...although the final results of their work will be different in each group!
6th graders leave the course knowing how to create theatre to educate, to devise, and how to work with a script.
