Oil Spill Clean Up
Next week – Wednesday – we will test the next generation of oil spill retention or clean up devices. Your job is to learn all you can about the spill between now and Wednesday, design either an oil collection device or a retention device or both. I will be giving you a large container with vegetable oil and the group that can most efficiently clean the oil will win. I will give you a rubric for efficiency on Monday. For now you should be researching the current oil spill, spill clean up techniques and gathering and testing materials for the clean up.
