The 2009 PMT regional contest was held at Pioneer Tech this year. The contest was a success thanks to all that helped with the event. Three Pioneer Tech students participated, Jacob Hicks finished 7th, Jesse Oburn finished 5th, and Jacob Failing finished 2nd which qualified him for the state contest held in Tulsa May 3rd-5th. Thanks to Ginny Galbraith, Rory Newland, Steve Bookout, And Ted Rowe for all of the hard work they put in at the contest. Thanks to students Kali Siler, Cody Pappan, and Miguel Garcia for cleaning machines in between rounds. Thanks to Joe Kampman and Jared McMartin from Cameron Compression for taking off work to be judges. This was a fun day for everyone and a great experience for all who participated.
