Advanced Newspaper
Members of the class will publish and distribute The Stampede each month. Responsibilities of the students include gathering truthful and accurate information, writing articles, taking photos, editing, designing pages using Adobe InDesign, selling and creating ads, and distributing the paper to the staff and students.

Intro to Newspaper
This is a fundamentals of journalism course. Students will learn about the history of communication, various forms of newswriting, newspaper page design, copyediting, advertising, radio, TV, etc. The primary focus will be on exploring newspapers as a means of communication. Students will also have chances to submit work to be published in the school paper, The Stampede.

Spanish I
This is a first year Spanish course where students will learn to speak, read, and write very basic Spanish. Some of the topics covered will include: greetings, numbers, the calendar, weather, colors, the classroom and school, describing yourself and others, food, pastimes, houses, and clothing. Students will learn simple grammar structure and be able to ask and answer questions.
