Students now have a homework scribbler in which they will complete any weekly homework assigned other than the dictation. I would like parents to please sign the agenda each Monday...
Also, students are to keep track of their reading in French with parents signing each reading session in the agenda. Many students are not doing this so it is difficult to determine if they are doing their reading. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated! |

Math

| We have completed addition and subtraction in math but these will be skills that the students will need throughout the year so I encourage you to keep working on these at home. As little as 10 problems a night would go a long way to helping your child be a proficient math student. Currently we are working on multiplication and students should be practicing the multiplication facts each night. |

Starting Monday, December 1st,instead of getting a spelling list, students will be given a dictation. This will be corrected and students will have the week to study from their mistakes. On Friday they will write the dictation again for marks.
