We have been working on responding to literature. Your child now knows how to retell a story, give their opinion of a story or character and support their opinion with details from the story. With that note, please have your child write a true response to the stories they read for homework.- Thank you
The students are not expected to spell all words correctly. They are encouraged to spell the way the word sounds, unless it is a spelling word or word they have been taught. Students know how to use the word wall to find high frequency words to include in their writing. |
