The Resource Class at Albertville Elementary is comprised of 3rd and 4th grade gifted students. Students attend resource 3-4 hours per week. Our units of study range from original, creative units developed by the teacher to student inspired topics. Each year there is an essential concept in which our studies revolve around. Talents Unlimited Thinking Skills are incorporated into many lessons.

Click here to watch what our 3rd graders created during the Christmas season! Each student designed their own Gingerbread House. It was interesting to see how each house, made out of the same ingredients as the others, had a personality of its own! Also, 3rd graders were given a plain red ornament and one week. During this week, students could add to, take away, decorate, etc. to this ornament to make it "their own." The only rule was they had to use things from around the house. They were not allowed to spend any money! These were all so different and unique! Great job 3rd grade! |
