The goal of the stamp project is to help students gain a better understanding of the many black Americans who made a significant contribution to America and its history.

The assignment was for the students to use photoshop to design their own stamp based on five individual they chosen randomly. They then had to research each person and state their case as to whether that person was deserving of a stamp. The following is a small selection of some of their stamp creations.
