| English 11 to Begin "Inherit the Wind" |

English 11 students will begin the second hexter with a reading of the classic play, "Inherit the Wind" as our centerpiece. This play, which focuses on the famous Scopes Monkey Trial, will offer us an opportunity to research the trial itself, to refine our understanding of the elements of drama, to practice techniques of argumentative writing, and to approach the Bible as literature (a handout on Genesis appears in the downloads below).
