It is hard to believe that it is already spring and the last nine weeks is here.
Our first, second, and third grade students have been having a lot of fun in music with Boomwhackers! Boomwhackers are tuned percssion instruments that students can hit on their foot, knee, tummy, hand, head etc... in order to make them sound. Students have been having a ball learning about music concepts using these fun instruments.
On May 6, 2008 fourth grade students will be attending a free symphony concert at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. This is a great opportunity for students to hear The Virginia Symphony and learn about the instruments of the orchestra that we have been learning about in class.
