Students will received more individualized instruction in math this year through the iReady diagnostics program.  A Blended Learning approach will be incorporated 2-3 times a week where students will be involved in computer instruction, small group instruction, and independent work.  The remaining 2-3 days a week math will be taught whole-group.  Math problem-solving "Tasks" will take place on a regular basis. 

5th graders attend various special classes taught by experts throughout the week. They include: Physical Education lead by Ms. Newman; Science with Watabe; Art with Mr. Florence; Music taught by Ms. Samuels, Ms. Colby, and Mr. Smith; Outdoor with Ms. Leger; and Library with Ms. Kellum.
