PARENTS: If you can spare some funds to support one of my class projects at Donorschoose, we would really appreciate it. The school covers the bare bones supplies (textbooks, chalk, the classroom), but anything additional (including our LCD projector, ELMO projector, printer, classroom library books and more have been supplied by donorschoose and other grants.)
This website supports my English 1-2 and English 3-4 classes. Please understand that it is a WORK IN PROGRESS and may not be completely up to date.

English 3-4, British Literature is an intermediate English course that will focus on authors of British culture or descent. Both reading and writing skills will be addressed. Authors will likely include Shakespeare, Dickens, Orwell, Austen, and a variety of poets and essayists.

AP Literature is a senior course aligned with the AP Literature and Composition Examination. Students are expected to take the exam as a culminatio of their work in the course.

A variety of literary works, genres and periods will be examined including the epic, tragedy, modernism, existentialism postmodernism, poetry of all types and forms.

High level literary analysis and analytic writing will be required of students in this course from the beginning. Only prepared, highly skilled students should enroll.
