Ms. Genereux

Hello! My name is Katie Genereux!
This website has been made in order to aid students in their journey through high school English at any level. I hope to help them achieve higher levels of listening and studying habits, as well as to provide them with fun and easy learning tools. Within this site, students will find strategies to further their enjoyment of English both as readers and as writers. We will study British literature of the 18th century, as well as Shakespeare. There will also be a heavy emphasis on correct grammar to ensure students can properly use the English language. There will be a research paper for both Freshman and Sophomore english, and research articles will be made available to all students for help on that particular assignment.

In terms of technology, I have a background which is very broad but quite knowledgeable. Of course, the basic things such as powerpoint and such I can definitely handle; however, I also have some slight experience with Smartboard and other more advanced technologies. I believe myself to be capable of using almost any technology which could potentially be placed in the classroom, but I have not yet had the opportunity to find out if this belief is legitimate. I would love to start learning my way around various types of technologies that are helping out our world of education so greatly, such as an Elmo Projector. I hope to continue my education in this area to include more specified content areas eventually.
