Greetings New Students !!!
It is a pleasure to welcome students and parents/guardians to my website. I hope to continue to improve the site so that you will always have access to classroom events, schedules, and assignments. Please feel free to offer suggestions and comments as I build this site for you.
Digital Technologies
This is an introductory course into Digital Integration in the home and business. Sound Systems, Home Theater systems, Security Systems, and Telecommunications systems can be integrated into existing technologies and this course makes those introductions. Students are expected to learn and practice basic electrical theory and electrical and shop safety. Career opportunities in Digital Electronics and related careers are explored.
Foundations of Technology
The course is designed as an introduction into the computer technologies and associated technologies. The course will prepare the student for future coursework in fields related and associated with computers. The course include basic electricity, shop safety, web design, networking, computer repair, and emphasis on career development.
Honors Business Economics
The class will introduce the student to elements of the free enterprise. We will research and analyze the impact that businesses, individuals, and the government have on our U.S. economy. A major portion of the class-time will center on group discussion and team projects. Students will be expected to complete coursework outside of the classroom.
Mobile/Media Electronics
This is an introductory course into the systems and entertainment products available for automobiles and trucks. This includes audio and visual systems, GPS systems, and security systems. Students will learn the basics of electricity to include the safety measures required to safely work in the electrical system of an automobile. Students will learn wiring techniques for low voltage systems.
Theatre One
This class is designed as an introduction to theater. We will watch and read many plays both old and new and learn the process of writing and discussing play reviews. We will also learn techniques in acting and directing and learn about the technical aspects of the "Theater". Students will be required to write and act in scripts created by students and participate in improvisation and monologues.
