Bio II (including DC)
Biology II is an extension of the Biology I course curriculum. Biology II will provide a more in-depth study of material introduced in Biology I. The students will utilize the scientific method to create and conduct research (some with MU researchers!), collect and analyze data, and formulate conclusions to be presented in a formal laboratory research paper. Students will further their knowledge in the areas of ecology, zoology, genetics, and microbiology.
The expected materials covered (lesson plan) can be found in the Biology II Course Calendar (located in the Class Downloads below). As with any lesson plans, these may get slightly altered during the course of the week. Any questions should be directed to Mrs. Glenn! :)
Bio I
Biology I will involve the study of life through reading the textbook, internet and lab activities, and hands-on projects. Students will come to understand the vast world of living things (big and small) around them and how they impact each of their lives. Lesson Plans are available via Mrs. Gladstone's Classjump Page. Mrs. Gladstone (Lead Biology I Teacher) posts the lesson plans on her classjump page. We follow the same (or very closely to) her lesson plans! If you ever have questions, EMAIL me! I'm happy to help if I can! ~SG
