Welcome to my web site! I am excited to be teaching at Martin for my 6th year. A little about myself...I grew up in west Texas. I attended Texas Tech University (Get your guns up!) where I received my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry. Before teaching I worked in medical and industrial laboratories as a microbiologist and chemist. I have lived in Arlington since graduating from Tech. I am married and have two boys.

The best resource that a parent can use to keep track of their child's progress is the online grade book. Visit

and follow the directions to sign up. By checking the parent portal regularly, you will be able to see immediately if your child is struggling, not turning in homework, or doing great in class. If you see areas of concern, please have your child come in for tutoring before it becomes too late. If your child is still not performing at the level you feel is possible, please contact me immediately so we can work together to ensure success.
