US History 11

This is a year long class broken up into 2 semesters. This class is required to graduate.

US History 11 covers the time periods of 1880 till modern times (2000's). Each unit will focus on one time period, ending with a unit test. This class does take an EOC final covering the entire semester, so keeping a good notebook is a must.

Military History covers the entire course of recored human conflict. The focus of the class is on offensive and defensive weaspons systems. With each new weapons invention, someone invented a defense or counter to that system. We will take a look at each period of history in which this change in weapon systems takes place.

We will do three projects in the class. 1) Greek Armor, 2) Castles and Seige weapons, 3) Book review.
