Algebra 1
In our class we will study the language, concepts, and techniques of Algebra that will prepare students to approach and solve problems following a logical succession of steps. Skills taught in the course lay groundwork for upper level math and science courses and have practical uses. Major topics include algebraic properties and the real number system, functions and their graphs, linear equations and inequalities, linear regression and modeling, systems of linear equations and inequalities, polynomial and factoring, algebraic fractions and real world applications.
Pre-Algebra
In our class we will explore mathematical concepts that are the foundation for success in Algebra: algebraic expressions, integers, equations, decimals, fractions, ratios, proportions, percents, area, volume, and probability.
