As we head into the final quarter of the 8th grade year, it is important that students do not lose their focus. This quarter will be one of the most difficult and probably the shortest as we have many end-of-the-year activities ahead. Students must start this quarter strong since some of the most difficult material will be covered in the first half of the last quarter. After completing chapter 14, students will be working with partners on lab work for about a week and a half. At the culmination of the work they do, students will have to use the data gathered to identify unknown substances and write an analysis explaining their results. We always end the 4th quarter with our rocket unit and annual Rocket/Kite Day with the 2nd grade students. More information concerning this will be coming home in April.
FINISH STRONG!
