Welcome Students!
Hi, my name is Mr. Andrew Rooks and I will be teaching Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus this year. Thank you for coming to my web page and taking the time to get to know me better. I have put a lot of information on this website, so please take your time looking around and don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions.

For starters, I am a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Management, with a major in Finance. Before becoming a teacher, I worked for several years as a business/commercial banker, where I helped people with the financial and money management issues facing their businesses. In 2010 I returned to school to earn a Master of Education, so I could teach.

I know that math is not an easy subject for everyone and I too had to work hard to learn and understand many concepts in mathematics. However, I believe that through hard work, perseverance, and dedication you can learn math and I am dedicated to helping each and everyone of you. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask them, if you need extra help please let me know because I am willing to spend the extra time and work with you. The only way to learn math is through practice!

I am looking forward to getting to know each of you this year and remember I am available for all your questions!
