6th Grade Social Studies - Ancient World History
To understand today’s world, we must learn about its past. Ancient civilizations laid strong foundations for modern cultures. The early ages of world history have added greatly to those cultures. In this course, we will learn how the ideas, events, and people of the past have shaped our lives.

7th Grade Social Studies - Canada and Latin America
In this course, students will learn that the history of Canada and Latin America have distinct periods that include exploration, colonization, development of a national identity, industrial growth, and emergence into a modern nation. Many groups and individuals have shaped the history of the Americas.

8th Grade Social Studies - History of the United States focusing on the Constitution
This course is designed to give our next generation of American citizens an understanding of the background, creation and subsequent history of the unique system of government brought into being by our Constitution. It will also help students to understand the principles and ideals that underlie and give meaning to the Constitution, a system of government by those governed. Past events, people, conflicts and other significant historical concepts will be discussed to help understand today’s political, economic, and social conditions.
