In this course, students will learn that the history of Canada and Latin America have distinct periods that include exploration, colonization, development of a national identity, industrial growth, and emergence into a modern nation. 8th Grade Social Studies - History of the United States focusing on the Constitution
This course is designed to give our next generation of American citizens an understanding of the background, creation and subsequent history of the unique system of government brought into being by our Constitution. It will also help students to understand the principles and ideals that underlie and give meaning to the Constitution, a system of government by those governed. Past events, people, conflicts and other significant historical concepts will be discussed to help understand today’s political, economic, and social conditions.
