This course is an introduction to high school level drawing. Students will explore figure, contour, gesture, cartooning, and still life drawing. Proportion, perspective, shading, texture, and value scales are introduced. Art history study will include the Renaissance and Cubism. This course is a prerequisite for all advanced classes including pottery classes.
