Hi Class!!! My name is Nancy Strezovski and am your science teacher. I obtained my BA at Purdue University and MEd IL at Valparaiso University. I am the new sixth grade science teacher at ABC Middle School, and this is my first year teaching. I am fascinated by science and hope to convey that science is cool.

My goal is to maximize class participation to encourage learning. I hope to inspire the students by being a positive and enthusiastic educator where I can implement a good work ethic. I also encourage students not to be afraid to ask questions and to feel comfortable to come to me as their teacher with any questions they may have.

This website will be a useful tool and resource center regarding your science class this year. Parents can also utilize this website to keep up with their child's projects and homework.

Science can be FUN! We are going to learn many aspects of science this year including life science, earth science and physical science. I have posted some neat links that will help you study and obtain information. We will have two projects this semester incorporating Webquests which is a fun and unique strategy to learn. We will also be utilizing different technology such as digital cameras, virtual reality and multimedia to incorporate lessons.
