Physical science is a course designed to familiarize students with both chemistry and physics. Approximately 9 weeks of the course will be devoted to the study of chemistry, including atoms, matter, the periodic table, acids/bases, solutions, and radioactivity. The remaining 9 weeks will be devoted to the study of physics, including forces, motion, electricity, energy, and magnetism
