This is my third year at Moberly High School, and I will be teaching American History and World History this year. I am also the head boys' basketball coach and the head boys' tennis coach at Moberly High School. This course covers American history from the time period of Reconstruction through the end of the 20th Century. Students will study the development of modern America and will focus on the ways in which events, politics, individuals, and movements have shaped and changed the United States and have influenced the modern world. Students will take an end-of-course exam ("EOC") in this course.

This course covers world history from early civilizations through World War II. The course will compare and contrast different civilizations or empires and will focus on themes such as exploration, rise and fall of empires, formation of governments, revolutions, religion, and economy. The course provides a background for the origin and development of the United States and the modern world.
