This class encompasses materials and activities that are geared towards the Eighth Grade English California State Content Standards. We focus on reading, writing, listening and speaking skills using a variety of genres.

This class offers extra support in the content area of English. Our goal is to increase the level of each student's reading and writing skills. We work on skills such as reading comprehension, fluency, and decoding through our Fast Track program, as well as concepts in literature such as characterization and elements of plot.
