Auto Collision Repair
People are involved in auto accidents every day. Because of that, there will always be a need for properly trained people to repair the damage. The Auto Collision Repair Technology curriculum at MATC will prepare students to utilize current techniques, materials and equipment and to understand the construction of today's vehicles.

Technology in the field of Auto Collision Repair changes continuously. A number of vehicles are now being constructed using boron steel, plastic and other materials. Car finishes are changing to align with the EPA’s standards for pollutants by introducing water based paints. Students need to learn how to repair collision damages using all new technology. Students will also learn how to repair frame damage with frame straightening machines, weld body and frame pieces, repair or replace trim pieces, and much more.

Other Career Opportunities from the Collision Repair field include:
•Collision Repair Shop Technician
•Automotive Glass Istallation/Repairer
•Welder
•Damage Appraiser for the Insurance Industry
