My name is Suzanne Heath and I want to keep you posted four times a year through a newsletter. I hope to capture your student's interest with your help and input. I want to combine new technology strategies with our research papers. I have just taken a class that introduced me to more web academic uses, including Web 3.0. I have learned how to effectively use Podcasts, Wikis, Blogs, Virtual Communities, and Power Point with media applications. Class explains development of strategies for critically reading and interpreting poetry, fiction, and drama. Introduces premises and motives of literary analysis and critical methods through focused class discussion and writing assignments.

The class encourages daily writing through journaling, in response to reading selections and poetry.
