| My name is Mr. Kenneth Lewis. I am a student of knowledge and a teacher of students. I earned a Bachelors of Arts and Science from the University of Arizona. I have a California Teaching Credential and a Masters Degree in Education, and I am GATE, Gifted and Talented Educatation certified. I taught/tutored English as a Foreign language in Egypt for two years, and this is my third year teaching at Horace Mann Middle School with San Diego Unified School District. My second language is Arabic. I enjoy traveling, training Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, working out at the gym, and hanging out with my family. Other interests of mine include Muy Thai, MMA and BMX ramp and freestyle. My teaching style focuses on combining the use of technology in the classroom by way of Power Points, United Streaming, TeenBiz and Interactive Jeopardy! Newly installed in my classroom is a Promethean Board to help keep our 21st century students engaged! We do a lot of small and whole group activities, Socratic Seminar, and of course- independent work. Please explore my website and click on links and see where you'll end up!
