Welcome- A little about me! أهلا وسهلا ، قليلا عني
I hold both a California Multiple Subject and an Arabic Teaching Credential and a Masters Degree in Cross-Cultural Education. I am GATE (Gifted and Talented Educatation) certified. This is my sixth year teaching at Horace Mann Middle School with San Diego Unified School District. My classroom teaching style focuses on combining the use of technology in the classroom by way of Power Points, Safari Montage, TeenBiz, Interactive Jeopardy and other techniques. Installed in my classroom is a Promethean Board to help keep our 21st century students engaged! All students have access to netbook laptop computers, as much of our lessons involve the use of technology. We perform small and whole group activities and Socratic Seminars.
