Welcome to the world of Algebra. I like to call it Algebraland because it is a new place to explore for most of my students (freshman). They feel like they are in a WHOLE NEW WORLD....and I guess to some degree they are....but together, we can accomplish anything before us and be successful ... of course, with the proper training.

Algebra I is a journey into the world of Algebra....I call it Algebraland. This is a new world for most of my students so I decided to make it an adventure. I welcome you to Algebraland, a place where we will start by training for the expedition with some basic math skills and begin to learn the capabilities of the graphing calculator. The calculator will be your GPS (kind of) on your adventure through Algebraland. In joining this expedition, you will experience a wide variety of new concepts that will enable you to be successful as you navigate through the mathematical pathway of high school.
