Go shopping with a family member and add up all the items needed to buy. 2. Assist a family member in cooking some part of the holiday meal. Write down step-by-step the process you used. 3. Locate a local newspaper and look for an article related to "science in the news." The Quest section is an excellent place to do that. Read that article, cut that article out and write down some notes on the article. When you report back to school, you will report out to the class on that article.
