Upcoming Stuff for All Classes KINDERGARTEN: We finished up the VRC books and are now working on lessons to complement classroom objectives. The week of April 14 we are talking about "x" and will read three books about x and foxes. We will then write the author and title of our library book on a paper. FIRST: First graders are working on beginning, middle and end with "House for Hermit Crab" and then they will come back to do some work with the dictionary! SECOND: We will read a silly story about adjectives and then will identify nouns and adjectives and a specially rewritten version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They will also hear a math story dealing with multiplication and we will work on some multiplication math stories from the book "Each Orange Has Eight Slices." THIRD: Some classes are working with indexes and some with atlases. It depends on what your child's teacher feels that her class needs in preparation for the upcoming SOL tests!
