I am excited to teach 9th grade lit because we read so many great works throughout the year! The cirriculum is designed to help students meet and exceed the the standards set by the state. I am committed to all helping every student in my class achieve their goals.

I am really happy to be teaching American Literature again this year. American Lit is a really fun course because it directly relates to our lives as Americans. This year students really put their knowledge they have banked in all their years at school to the test when they take their high school graduation writing test. Also, students will really begin to prepare for their senior year and college after that by doing a research intensive unit. The journey is the research process and the end result is a paper students will complete.
I am very excited about this class of juniors!
