The English I curriculum focuses on writing, reading, viewing and representing, and speaking and listening. In this class students can expect to read novels, poetry, Romeo and Juliet, The Odyssey, and a variety of other texts. You can expect to read, write, discuss, debate, study, think, and learn a lot!

The Reading course is designed to enhance students' reading skills in the following areas: reading literature, the internet, textbooks, tests, information, and images. Students will learn strategies designed to help them read more proficiently, as well as comprehend and remember what they have read.
